Tracking the Spread of Coronavirus by U.S. County

More than people have been diagnosed in the U.S. since the first case of COVID-19 was reported in Washington state on January 20. As the virus has spread across America, the resounding theme in the fight against it has been the need to flatten the curve. We created this tool, using county-level data from the New York Times, to help readers track how coronavirus is impacting their community and answer the question, “what does the curve look like where I am?”

This page is updated daily as new data becomes available. Data used in this tracker is collected by The New York Times and is available on GitHub.
