Privacy Policy
How The DataFace collects, uses and shares information when you visit thedataface.com, contact us, book a call or subscribe to our newsletter.
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This policy explains what information The DataFace, LLC (“The DataFace,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit thedataface.com or its subdomains, including our Data & Eggs gallery at eggs.thedataface.com (together, the “site”), contact us, book a call or subscribe to our newsletter, and how we use it. It doesn’t cover work we do for clients, which is governed by our agreements with them.
Information you give us
- Contact form. Your name, email address, company and the reason you’re reaching out, plus anything else you choose to write.
- Booking a call. When you schedule a call on our site, the scheduling form is provided by Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email address and anything you add to the booking, and shares that booking with us.
- Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe to Data & Eggs or other updates.
- Email and other messages you send us directly.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site, we and the services we rely on collect some information automatically:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example, a search engine or another site), your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.
- Advertising. We use advertising tags from Google (Google Ads), LinkedIn (the LinkedIn Insight Tag) and Meta (the Meta Pixel). They measure whether an ad led to a booking or an inquiry, and let us show our ads to people who have visited the site before. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to do this.
- Business visitor identification. We use Apollo.io and RB2B to understand which companies, and in some cases which people, visit our site. These services match information such as your IP address and browser data against their own business databases. They may then give us details such as a company name or, for some US visitors, a name, job title and professional profile. We use this to follow up with businesses that may be interested in our services.
- Our own cookies. We set two cookies ourselves:
df_attris set only if you allow advertising cookies. It records how you first found us: the ad click ID if you arrived from a Google ad, any campaign tags in the link, the page you landed on, the referring site and when you first visited. It lasts 90 days. We use it to understand which marketing brings people to us, and we pass campaign details to Calendly when you book a call.df_booking_trackedis also set only with advertising consent. It lasts 10 minutes after you book a call, so a booking isn’t counted twice.
- Hosting and performance. Our host, Vercel, processes standard server information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site. Vercel Speed Insights measures page performance without using cookies.
- Embedded content and assets. Some pages load content from other services, such as Calendly for scheduling, Vimeo for videos, Adobe Fonts, an icon service and our content management system (Storyblok), which serves images. Those services receive standard information, such as your IP address, when your browser loads them.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiries and schedule and prepare for calls;
- send newsletters and updates you’ve asked for;
- understand how the site is used and improve it;
- measure and improve our marketing, including our ads;

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or others’ safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
Your choices

How long we keep information
We keep contact, booking and newsletter information for as long as we need it to respond to you, maintain our business relationship and keep appropriate records. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see below). Our df_attr cookie expires after 90 days. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.
